When you arrive at the Eastern Washington Rejuvenate, it will likely be Laurie’s smiling face you will see at registration. Laurie happily supports the moms at retreat in many different ways, many times behind the scenes. She has put together special gifts that were placed on each mom’s bed as they arrived. She helps set up prizes for the Sunday morning tea party raffle, or makes sure that the spa waters are refilled when she sees them getting low (after all, those cucumbers aren’t going to jump in all by themselves). As the moms are “busy” relaxing, she is at work, making sure that all those little details are being taken care of.
Laurie is the mother of 8 children; three have been adopted from Ethiopia and five are bio. She has a daughter who is deaf and a son with Apraxia. She and her husband have been married for 22 years. In her “spare” time, she enjoys baking and gardening.
We are so excited to have Laurie on our team!
