Counselors guide parents in therapeutic interventions to help with the effects of complex trauma. They help the children and their parents grieve, regulate their emotions, attach and deal with other mental health issues that often appear in children from difficult places.

Psychologists specialize in psychological testing and measurement. A complete neuropsychological exam will screen for mental health issues, developmental delays and learning disabilities. These reports are helpful to school, courts and other medical providers. Psychologists can also serve as your child?s primary therapist/counselor
