Support Groups

For Everyone

On the 4th Tuesday of every month, amazing but crazy parents gather to support and encourage each other at First Baptist Church in Richland, WA.  They are adoptive parents all sorts of kids. No agenda, no dress code and no kids. Just friends in similar (sometimes exhausting) circumstances getting together for whatever.

Instead of support group, think more “friends having dinner.” You wont have to get in front of the group and say, “Hi, my name is _____ and I am an adoptive parent.” Instead we’ll share dinner, dessert and coffee and talk about our lives with special kids.

A typical evening consists of our meal, an icebreaker, a short training topic, and concludes with open discussion and question and answer time.

Child care is provided (along with dinner for your child). Bring them along.
